After the whole “they’re just drunk” incident, Peter starts preaching.  One of the things that he says may pass us by, but would’ve held a lot of water at the time.

God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this (Acts 2:32).

That’s a significant statement in a time when it only took two witnesses for something to hold up in court.  When Peter says this, a few ears may have perked up.

There are times in life when we just need to trust what other people are saying, but we don’t really live in that type of society any more, do we?  We struggle trusting what other people have to say.  We want a witness.

Did you know that the best way to give witness to the truth of the gospel today is in how we live it out?  If we really want people to enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ, then we have to be aware of how we are living.  If we’re always angry, bitter, argumentative, lying, cheating, etc, then why would somebody want to be a part of that?  The best things followers of Christ can do is truly live out their faith every minute of every day.  The worst thing we can do is only live it out when it’s convenient or easy.  Can I get a witness?
