What is it that you worry about?  There are all kinds of things going on in this crazy world.  Everybody worries about something – finances, relationships, work.  What is it that worries you?  Maybe this verse from today’s reading will help ease your mind.

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life – whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear.  Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?  Look at the birds.  They don’t plan or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them.  And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?  Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

I heard it said that regret is living in the past, and worry is living in the future.  It’s difficult, but there are things in life that we can’t control.  Does that worry you, or does it free you up to do more with what you have?  What are you worried about?  Do your worries add to the solution?
